Avito listing mode

Updated · 10 min read

What it is

Sozdai can build not only cards for Ozon and Wildberries, but also listing covers for Avito — including services and rentals. The mode is rolling out gradually: if the “Create” sheet shows “Product” and “Service or rental”, it's already on for you.

Object type and marketplace are different things:

A third object type is the brand: it has neither a product nor a service, and its only content is the shop profile banner. How to make one is covered in “Avito profile banner”.

How to create one

The “Create” button opens the “What are we making?” sheet with two options:

From there the usual add-by-photo or manual flow opens. A service has no “By link” tab — services have no supplier listing, only photos or manual entry.

How to switch the marketplace

A product's marketplace is visible and changeable in three places:

  1. The “Marketplace” row in the simple wizard's brief — above “Style and settings”, two chips: “Ozon / WB / Ya.Market” and “Avito”.
  2. The badge under the object's title on the product page — clicking it opens the same choice.
  3. The “Marketplace” row in advanced settings — in the step-by-step wizard and in Pro, inside the accordion, above the format row.

All three change the same product field — switching in any one of them shows up everywhere. A service shows a static “Service · Avito” badge and a subtype chip instead (the subtype can be changed).

What changes for Avito

Switching to Avito changes more than labels — it changes the cover's format itself:

The 1:1 frame can be repositioned. With the toggle on “1:1”, the square frame shows the 4:3 cover itself — drag it left or right with the mouse or a finger to choose which part of the shot ends up inside the square. The hint under the frame reads “Drag to reposition the frame”; the keyboard works too — Tab to the frame, ←/→ move by 5 %, Home/End jump to the edge. As soon as you let go the crop is re-saved (“Saving the frame…”), and “Download” gives you the new square. Repositioning is free: nothing is regenerated and no credits are spent.

The same “4:3 · 1:1” toggle and the same drag-to-reposition are available in the object's gallery: open any Avito cover full-screen — the toggle sits above the image, and the “Download” button in the top-right corner gives you exactly the variant and frame position you have selected. “Download” is available in the full-screen view for every photo, not only Avito covers.

Why the square crop matters: in the Avito feed, a listing's first photo is automatically cropped — to roughly 4:3 in the desktop list and to a 1:1 square in the phone grid. That's how most buyers see the listing before they open it. By generating both variants up front, Sozdai keeps important text or the object itself from falling outside that crop.

Avito's rules, baked into the cover

The prompt used for Avito already accounts for the marketplace's rules:

The text check on a finished cover

Sozdai checks every finished Avito cover itself — for free, automatically, and silently. The AI reads the lettering straight off the image and compares it with what you wrote in the brief: the headline and the features. The check asks you nothing and shows you nothing: no line, no button, no tick. It has no separate wait either — it fits inside the usual generation time, and no credits are spent on it.

We show no warnings about Avito's rules: the platform's moderation is lenient, and part of what it objects to on our covers is our own layout slip — you shouldn't be paying to fix that. You can always download and publish the cover — the decision is yours; if the lettering didn't come out the way you wanted, fix it with a regular refine on the result screen.

Special machinery rentals get a different check: their cover is text-free by default, so we simply make sure no lettering ended up on it.

Special machinery: a text-free cover

Special machinery rentals face Avito's strictest rules: the platform won't allow captions on the first photo. So if the “Special machinery rental” subtype is selected when creating a service, the cover is made text-free by default — just the machine itself, its real surroundings, and nothing else. There's a separate line about this above the generate button in the brief.

A styled variant with a headline and features is still available: on the result screen, the second button is called “Another variant with text”. It costs the same as a regular generation (not two), and produces the same cover but with captions — the kind you'd use as the second or third photo of the listing, where text is already allowed.

In the step-by-step wizard and in Pro the rule works the same way, but text is drawn if the headline or the features are not empty — there you control the cover's contents explicitly.

The subtype hint

When a service is created from a photo, the AI also guesses its subtype. If its guess differs from the one you picked, a single line appears under the subtype chip in the brief: “AI thinks this is “Special machinery rental”” with two buttons.

The line is shown once: after any answer it disappears and never comes back. The subtype can still be changed at any time — through the same badge under the object's title.

Accepted or rejected?

Under the gallery of generated images, objects with an Avito cover show a line: “How did Avito moderation go? [Accepted] [Rejected]”. It's a single question about the most recent cover — answering takes one tap, and afterwards the line disappears for good.

The answers help us understand whether Avito's rules baked into generation are working: if listings get rejected often, the rules need to change. No listing data is sent — only “accepted” or “rejected”.

What to use as the first photo

For a service — a photo of the finished work, the object, or the specialist: whatever should end up on the cover. For a product on Avito, the same rule applies as for a marketplace: the first photo is the main one, best left unchanged after the object is created; the rest are used as reference for detail.

Service subtypes

When you create a service, you pick one of eight subtypes — it tells the AI what matters for this particular service, both on the cover and in the analysis:

The subtype can be changed at any time — its chip opens from the same badge under the object's title that shows the marketplace for a product.

What else changes for a service

Slides for a service

A service's slide catalogue differs from a product's in three ways.

A dedicated "For services" category. Nine slides a product doesn't have: "What is included", "Guarantees and terms", "About the specialist", "Portfolio" (2–4 photos of completed work in a grid), "Service area and hours", "Specifications", "Rental terms", "Fleet and equipment", "Questions and answers". The category sits right after "Information". Their data is pulled from the analysis just like for product slides: the block under the thumbnail is filled in by AI, and every line can be edited.

Familiar slides get service wording. Same templates, different labels — but template names come from the database in Russian regardless of your locale, so the UI still shows the Russian name: «Способ применения» (How to use) becomes «Как мы работаем» (How we work), «Преимущества и УТП» (Benefits & USP) becomes «Почему мы» (Why us), «Отзывы покупателей» (Customer reviews) becomes «Отзывы и рейтинг» (Reviews and rating), «Сертификаты и гарантии» (Certifications & warranties) becomes «Лицензии и допуски» (Licences and permits), «Варианты использования» (Use cases) becomes «Для каких задач» (What we are hired for), «Сравнение с аналогами» (Comparison) becomes «Мы и обычный исполнитель» (Us vs a typical contractor) — «До и после» (Before and after) keeps its name. Product-only slides that make no sense for a service — dimensions, close-up, the whole «Подача товара» (product presentation) category, scenes and background plates are hidden: for a service the real object, person and place from the photo are never replaced.

A "Recommended" badge. Slides that suit your subtype (transport, machinery rental, repairs and so on) carry a quiet mark in the thumbnail's corner and come first inside their category. It's a hint, not a restriction: any slide in the category can be picked, nothing is preselected, and the category order doesn't change. The subtype comes from the object's card — change it and the hints re-sort.

After a page reload

This applies to any object, not only services: if the page reloads (for example, the phone unloaded the tab), the simple wizard reopens where you were — the latest result from the last half hour is shown right away with the note “Reopened your latest result”. The step-by-step wizard and Pro open on the first step.

Gradual rollout

Avito listing mode is rolling out in pieces, not to everyone at once. If something described here isn't visible yet, it will appear as the rollout continues; behavior for existing products and marketplaces doesn't change.
